Why am I different?
Highly curious throughout my life and career, I consciously embrace and experience as much as I possibly can, keeping my mind wide open. Taking on risks and responsibilities as early as possible and going into unfamiliar situations with my sleeves rolled up.
This approach has been both stimulating and often challenging, though ultimately rewarding. Building up this experience equips me today with the ability to rapidly understand what is actually going on in a given situation, quickly identifying and grasping the real underlying issues - a super-sharp intuition to draw from and reliably inform on what to do next.
Wisdom and insights - true value for my clients.
Communication is for me the most valuable skill we can possess. Listening, observing, absorbing, interpreting and relating on the one side, sharing, questioning, expanding, teaching and understanding on the other, have all helped me develop empathy, sensitivity and a highly evolved EQ.
Being a strong communicator has enhanced my strength as a leader, where team composition, dynamics, needs and performance are central to delivering outcomes. In all my corporate roles, I have been instrumental in setting an open tone and creating a strong culture of collaboration, stimulation and belonging, both within my teams and with colleagues and clients. Above all, I want my team members to be respected, enjoy the work and to continually grow, contributing to our common objectives and sharing in our successes.
My style is down-to-earth, informal, warm, good humoured and approachable, though also professional, respectful and direct, with the utmost integrity and discretion.
From first-hand experience, I am very familiar with the techniques, style and legacy of the major consultancies on my own organisations, giving me a solid basis for what I think does – and does not – work well.
Being a native Brit, most of my international colleagues throughout my career around the world have highly appreciated and valued working together, practising and honing their own skills in English, though German is possible.
Intellectually and culturally curious - in life, artistically and professionally – I love working with and enjoy very much people who have the courage to see, think and act somewhat distinctively.
